The procurement process in a school district may be subject to the rules and regulations of Minnesota state statutes. A school district entering into an agreement for the sale, purchase, or rental of supplies, materials, equipment, or the construction of real property must abide by the statutes relating to contracting and bidding. M.S. 471.345, Uniform Municipal Contracting Law was established to provide dollar limits for all school district contracts that are or may be entered into.
